“Everyone Looks at Me” is an oil painting that examines self-representation through a unified portrait of the women who shaped me. The black and white palette creates an intimate and vulnerable atmosphere that invites viewers to feel as though they are looking into a mirrored persona.

The growing flower acts as a subtle marker of identity and suggests how influence and memory take root. I wanted viewers to experience the same introspection I felt while painting, to sit with the quietness, notice the symbols and reflect on their own identities through a face that is not their own.
